It's also a way for them to indulge in a bit of nostalgia. This time, fans have transferred the Train map to CS2. It can be launched in the new version of the shooter by downloading it through the Steam Workshop.

A fan with the nickname Rockfeller, who carried out the transfer, shared that he added the latest version of Train from CS:GO to CS2. Because of this, some of the new features that appeared in the shooter with the release of Counter-Strike 2 do not work on the map. For example, the animation of breaking glass.
Image credit: Steam Valve removed Train from the map pool in 2021, replacing it with Ancient. At the time of this article's publication, the location is not officially presented in CS2. The developers have not announced when they plan to add Train to the new version of the shooter.

It seems that many players liked this map. For instance, Danish analyst Jakob "Pimp" Winneche asked the developers to add Train to CS2.
Winneche also listed the features of the map that he likes:
