Competitive Counter-Strike is back! The Holiday break is over, the great reshuffle is a part of history, and we're eager to watch new rosters in action. The first tournament of 2025 is BLAST Bounty Spring. Next week, we will have a giant qualifier where 32 teams will fight for 8 spots at the LAN final.

The big feature of BLAST Bounty Spring is that lower-seeded teams get to choose their opponents from the higher-seeded bracket. If they win, they also get a bounty reward but, most importantly, move into the next round. All matches are Best-of-3, and the loser is eliminated.

Round 1 will take place on January 14-17. Here is the full schedule (all times in CET):

January 14, Tuesday

  • 12:00 - FlyQuest vs. MIBR

January 15, Wednesday

  • 14:30 - FURIA vs. Nemiga
  • 17:00 - MOUZ vs. BetBoom
  • 19:30 - G2 Esports vs. B8

The most interesting matchups are MOUZ vs. BetBoom, as the Russian team got two big transfers of Boombl4 and Ax1le, Team Spirit vs. Fnatic, because of an overall level of competitors, and Virtus.pro vs. Complexity, as both teams went through the huge rebuilding.
