Right after the winter reshuffle in Counter-Strike, MOUZ stocks for the first half of 2025 was looking strong. The organization managed to retain its roster, and while their rivals restructured and needed time to gel, the German club seemed poised to strike while the iron was hot, competing for trophies alongside Team Spirit and Natus Vincere. However, today saw perhaps the most shocking roster move in recent memory: the club has suddenly benched its IGL, siuhy.

Beyond the genuine shock, this announcement raises many questions. Officially, the reason cited is a difference in vision for the team's future, but few are likely to buy that explanation. If there had been significant differences, the player would have been benched much earlier—not after an unfortunate loss at BLAST Bounty Spring. MOUZ wouldn’t have started the season with this lineup, let alone made this move after the roster lock for the prestigious IEM Katowice. The timing is terrible.

Two possible scenarios come to mind: First, there was likely a sharp internal conflict within the team, which the organization and player have masked behind a diplomatic statement. This conflict may have been sudden, explaining the poorly timed benching. Second, it’s possible that a major organization belatedly negotiated a deal with siuhy, and a hefty bag of cash is now on its way to MOUZ headquarters.

In the second scenario, there are two potential destinations for siuhy: G2 Esports or Team Liquid. However, the situation and timing don’t fully align with G2 Esports. Team Liquid is the more intriguing option, as it would relieve Twistzz of the burden of being an IGL, allowing him to shine on the server once again.

That said, in either case, siuhy might remain on the bench for an extended period until the "bag of money" is deemed sufficient. It appears that the parties are not parting ways amicably, and we could even see one of the best IGLs in the world languishing on the bench, akin to perfecto's situation.

Events are unfolding rapidly, and we’ll be closely following the developments.
