With his young son on his lap, PR Balrog decided to beat Miky "Samurai" Chea, who made it to the finals through the losers' bracket, in a best-of-five set. Samurai managed to level the series and was leading by one round. With only 40 seconds left in the second round, his character, Luke, had reduced the father-fighter's life bar to a sliver. But he couldn't capitalize and used up his drive meter trying to finish the job, leading Luke to get stunned.

Balrog seized this perfect moment. Using his Drive, he broke through the opponent's zone defense, leading to a combo. It ended with an overhead strike, giving him the winning point. All this happened while his child comfortably sat on his lap.
