In order to test out a new fighter, players have returned to Street Fighter 6. The game now features Mai Shiranui from the Fatal Fury series.

Street Fighter 6 is Capcom's successful fighting game. As of December 31, 2024, it has sold 4.4 million copies. Fans believe that the game receives little content, but recently the developers pleased users with a new character.

Mai Shiranui is the third fighter of the second season, whose appearance had a noticeable impact on the popularity of Street Fighter 6. On the day of the character's release, the peak online in Steam exceeded 63 thousand players (previously 24-27 thousand at the peak) - the best result since May 2024.

The character is available to Battle Pass holders. In World Tour, you can develop relationships with Mai, learn moves, and then test in Battle Hub. A second costume for the fighter has also been added it's inspired by her image from Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

Additionally, Battle Hub has a temporary guest, Professor Woshige, developer and legend of the fighting game world. You can try him out until March 10. The game also introduced new Master League ranks and rewards.
