As Esports World Cup comes closer and closer, more teams are busy signing talents in different games so their chances in Club Championship will be higher.

Team Vitality announced the signing of one of the strongest Tekken 8 players from South Korea, JeonDDing. Last year, he was fourth in Tekken World Tour 2023 leaderboards and finished the final tournament in 7-8th place. Also he won CEO 2023 and VSFighting XI, two Master tier events (only Master+ tier is higher).

The first tournament for the Korean player will be EVO Japan, a Master+ tier event and a great chance for JeonDDing to make a statement in the newest edition of Tekken. He is known for unorthodox style of play: in Tekken 7 he was maining Eddy Gordo which was not a popular pick in the professional scene. Now, Eddy Gordo is back to Tekken 8 as the first DLC character, so we might see JeonDDing playing him again, and that's awesome!

Tekken 8 is one of the twenty Esports World Cup tournaments. The prize pool of the bracket is $1,000,000.
