The first Dota 2 tournament of 2025, boasting a $1 million prize pool, has concluded in Serbia. FISSURE Playground brought together sixteen teams to battle for the championship title, but in the grand final, it was once again the usual suspects.

Team Falcons had a strong tournament run—going 3-1 in the Swiss stage, showing solid performances in the playoffs, losing only to Tundra Esports in the upper bracket final, and then making their way back to the grand final. They even had two map points against Tundra in the deciding match, seemingly on the verge of victory… but Tundra completely flipped the script, proving once again why they are the strongest team in the world right now.

This was Tundra’s first major tournament since adding durachyo and bzm to the roster, and it turned out to be a resounding success. Unfortunately for the players, there won’t be much time to celebrate, as BLAST Slam kicks off this Tuesday in Copenhagen, meaning the grind continues with barely any rest.
