Additionally, 600,000 people started playing College Football 25 before the release through the trial version available on EA Play. Thus, the total audience of the simulator approached three million.
College Football 25 became a hit among players in the US even before the official release. According to Circana, on July 17, the football simulator ranked in the top 3 for player activity on Xbox Series X|S and top 4 on PS5.
Analysts believe College Football 25 has the potential to become one of the top gaming hits of 2024, including in terms of revenue.
