Zombies hold a special place in the Call of Duty universe. Many gamers purchase titles in this series not just for online battles against other players. An important factor for such buyers is the co-op mode where they battle swift undead.

The released video depicts how zombies made their way into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Essentially, it's a bioweapon, and players will have to get the situation under control. The trailer also features Sergei Ravenov — a character from the zombie mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It seems he will play one of the main roles in the anti-zombie squad.

At the end of the video, Activision revealed the "Zombie Ghost" skin, which will be given as a pre-order bonus for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It will be available in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 starting September 27th.

According to the official announcement, developers will introduce players to an entirely new open world with zombies. It will be the largest map in the history of zombie modes in Call of Duty.

The co-op campaign with the undead will be present in Modern Warfare 3 upon the game's release, set for November 10th.
