Baldur's Gate 3 has a lot of secrets. Little by little, Larian's game is being revealed.

Baldur's Gate 3 dataminers have long found many secrets of varying magnitude in the game. Among such finds was the ending.

Recently they remembered about it: this evil ending in Baldur's Gate 3 was found again, but already during the testing of the eighth major patch. The protagonist will be able to get rid of the illithid by literally ripping it out and destroying it, while the hero will not be harmed. Then there's the fork: the hero and companions leave, or the hero leaves, leaving the companions behind.

Players assume that with the release of the eighth patch in Baldur's Gate 3 will finally fully introduce this ending.

BioWare, the company behind Dragon Age: The Veilguard, recently announced layoffs. Discussions about the state of the gaming industry have been stoked by this. Michael Daus, the publishing director of Larian Studios, is still active on the social media platform.

This time, he chose to discuss the industry's layoffs because, in his view, it is important to value workers and those who make decisions should bear the burden rather than regular workers: It is not necessary to fire a significant portion of the development team in between projects or after they are finished. Maintaining that institutional knowledge is essential, and it will be important for future projects.
