NetherRealm has officially launched Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition, a complete package of the popular fighting game, and they’ve dropped a savage new trailer to show it off. The video doesn’t hold back—it highlights everything included in the bundle: the full base game, all DLC characters, a story expansion, and tons of bonus character skins.

This edition is perfect for players who missed out on earlier content drops or just want everything in one go. It’s available now on PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

However, not everyone is celebrating. While co-creator Ed Boon has promised long-term support for MK1, the release of a “definitive” edition has some fans worried. Many are questioning whether this marks the end of new updates, fearing the game’s post-launch support might be wrapping up earlier than expected. Some have even taken to social media to call Boon a liar, upset at what they see as mixed signals.

Still, for those who want the full Mortal Kombat 1 experience in one brutal package, this edition delivers just that—no fatalities spared.
