Rebellion has unveiled a new gameplay-focused trailer for Atomfall offering players a closer look at the mechanics, world design, and atmosphere of their upcoming post-apocalyptic title. The video features commentary from game director Ben Fisher, shedding light on the intricate details that shape the experience.

Set in England five years after a devastating nuclear disaster, Atomfall immerses players in an expansive open world filled with dark secrets and perilous challenges. The gameplay blends survival elements, investigative puzzles, and meaningful decision-making, allowing players to influence the story through their actions. For instance, players can choose whether to answer ringing phones or ignore them entirely, each choice affecting the unfolding narrative.

The developers emphasize the freedom to explore the world at your own pace, though some areas will prove lethally dangerous. The trailer showcases shadowy locations brimming with threats, enhancing the tense and foreboding atmosphere.

Atomfall is set to launch on March 27th for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. Additionally, Rebellion has announced the first story-based DLC, titled Wicked Isle Included in enhanced editions of the game, this expansion remains shrouded in mystery for now, with no further details revealed.
