Over two years have passed, but finally Grand Theft Auto V on PC will receive a major update that brings this version mostly on par with consoles. The date is March 4. This update will bring features from the native PS5 and Xbox Series versions, which were released in 2022. All current players will get it for free, and their progress in both GTA Online and Story will be transferred without doing anything extra.
The biggest part of the upgrade is applied for GTA Online, as a huge amount of previously unavailable content for PC players was released there. Additionally, the GTA+ subscription will now be available on PC. It offers various perks, such as the ability to collect profits from businesses at a much faster rate. Rockstar Games has also improved anti-cheat protections.

The update will bring significant graphical enhancements, but unfortunately, system requirements will increase as well. Those whose hardware can't handle the updated version will have the option to stick with the older one, which developers won't stop supporting. Unfortunately there won't be any crossversion support which means playing together on different versions is impossible, so that's something to keep in mind.
