If there's one thing that consistently causes headaches for developers and players in the Diablo series, it's trade system bugs. Once again, Blizzard had to urgently disable item trading in Diablo IV due to a bug that allowed item duplication.

These types of bugs can seriously disrupt the in-game economy, but what's interesting is that this isn't the first time Blizzard has had to take such a measure in Diablo IV. They already did the same, for example, last October. And if we look back, similar issues arose in Diablo III, particularly with the auction house system.

The developers announced that they have disabled trading while they investigate the possible item duplication caused by the bug. Notably, bugs have been a recurring theme in the game's latest fifth season. If not for these issues, players would be extremely satisfied, as the update content-wise is fantastic, but unfortunately, the quality has been lacking.

How long this trading disablement will last is unclear. We can only wait for further updates from the developers.
