Cyberpunk 2077 was released exactly four years ago, and CD Projekt Red decided to celebrate the anniversary with the unannounced Cyberpunk 2077 patch 2.2, which is released today. The developers hosted a stream where they highlighted the key changes.

The update was made together with Virtuos, a company that co-developed many games, for example, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Mortal Kombat 1 or The Callisto Protocol.

The main motive of Cyberpunk 2077 update is the characters expressing themselves. You will be able to change the colour of the best and fastest cars, not only of the Rayfield brand. It will also help to lose the cops chasing you. Also, over a hundred of new assets were added to the character creation menu.

The photo mode was improved, as the camera can now act like a drone, allowing it to capture more screenshots. However, not all features will be available for consoles, as there are technical limitations. For example, that applies to aspect ratio of screenshots, which can be changed only on PC. The ability to spawn several NPC to take photos might be a great feature for those who love the photo mode. These photos can be framed in apartments, allowing greater customisation.

Also, we're very likely to get new easter eggs which the community will have to hunt on its own. It is great that CD Projekt Red managed to make a comeback after a disastrous launch, and now Cyberpunk 2077 has truly become a legend!
