Dead by Daylight has teamed up with the Resident Evil series to bring players an exciting new 2v8 mode. This special event features iconic villains from Capcom’s renowned series, adding a fresh twist to the gameplay.

Players can step into the roles of two infamous antagonists: Nemesis and Albert Wesker, also known as The Puppeteer. They will face off against a team of Resident Evil’s most recognizable heroes, including:

  • Jill Valentine
  • Leon Kennedy
  • Claire Redfield
  • Ada Wong

The intense battles take place within the familiar walls of the Raccoon City Police Station. 

This collaboration is particularly unique as it pairs Nemesis and Wesker back to back for the first time in this type of gameplay, creating a one-of-a-kind experience. Both characters bring their signature infection-based abilities: Nemesis relies on the T-Virus, while Wesker uses Uroboros to target Survivors.

In the 2v8 mode, gamers can collect special herbs inspired by the Resident Evil series. For example, some herbs provide healing for Survivors, while yellow herbs are used to repair hooks. Interestingly, Killers can also gather herbs, which grant them a temporary speed increase.

Whether you’re new to the 2v8 mode or a seasoned player, there are important changes to note. The traditional Powers and Perks have been replaced with a new Class System, which introduces a variety of strategic options for Killers and Survivors.

The Dead by Daylight x Resident Evil collaboration will be available until February 25, giving players ample time to explore this thrilling crossover. Don’t miss out on this unique blend of horror and strategy!
