ZA/UM, the team behind the critically acclaimed Disco Elysium, has announced the development of a mobile version tailored for Android devices.

Unlike the original title, the mobile adaptation will transform the experience into a visual novel format. Players can expect illustrated scenes combined with nonlinear narratives and fully voiced dialogue instead of the isometric gameplay seen in the original release.

The developers explained that this version seeks to "introduce Disco Elysium to a broader audience while providing loyal fans with an exciting mobile-friendly option." Notably, the studio aims to engage TikTok users, as highlighted by Tõnis Haavel, the head of ZA/UM:

"Our goal is to draw in TikTok users through short videos packed with compelling stories, stunning illustrations, and captivating audio recordings. This initiative will redefine entertainment by offering a fresh and deeply engaging experience.

Narrative-focused games like Disco Elysium deserve a place on mobile platforms. By honoring the essence of the original work, we strive to reintroduce this masterpiece to both new and returning players. Our hope is for everyone to rediscover their love for Disco Elysium—now accessible on their smartphones."
