Battlestate Games has added seasonal loot boxes and a battle pass system to Escape from Tarkov. The new system, tied to EFT Arena, offers unique progression mechanics. Rewards—excluding currency and crates—are permanent and remain on the account even after wipes.

Tactical gear unlocked via the battle pass is immediately usable in both Escape from Tarkov: Arena and the main game, including the PvE Zone. However, this gear won’t appear at traders like Baraholshik and is only visible during character customization. Specific items, such as masks and chest rigs, will be available as trade offers from the trader Ref once synchronization mechanics are implemented.

The Battle Pass: Season 0 lasts for two months, with the possibility of an extension. Progress and currency persist through wipes, allowing players to continue after prestiging. A new "Sealed Gear Case (Battle Pass Season 0)" has been introduced, containing rare items like intelligence folders, TerraGroup documents, Bitcoin, military electronics, LEDX, and marked keys. This exclusive crate is only obtainable through the Season 0 Battle Pass or special events.
