Ubisoft’s future no longer hinges solely on the success of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. And while over three million players have already tried the game (which can certainly be considered a success), it's time for the developers to roll out updates. That means the first major patch is coming — and it weighs in at up to 20 GB.

The patch is aimed at fixing bugs and introducing quality-of-life improvements. So, what’s in store?

  • Added auto-follow feature when traveling by horse to a marked location
  • Increased horse speed in cities
  • Introduced mass-marking, selling, or dismantling of items at shops and the forge
  • Shortcut to the investigation board
  • Ability to reset skill points in mastery tree nodes
  • Enabled image upscaling support with PSSR on PS5 Pro
  • Improved image quality in “Performance” mode on PS5 Pro
  • Fixed bugs in dozens of quests
  • Improved stealth mechanics and enemy AI behavior
  • Made adjustments to combat systems and balance, especially in boss fights

The patch is scheduled for release on the afternoon of April 8.
