Soon, the well-liked farming life simulator will get even more lifelike. Developers Giants Software formally unveiled Farming Simulator VR, a virtual reality experience that immerses you in the world of agriculture.

The upcoming novelty is called a “brand new” farming experience. Players will have to independently deal with sowing and harvesting of crops on equipment, take care of vegetables in greenhouses, maintain their vehicles and more - all for the development and prosperity of their own farm.

Most fans of the series met the announcement favorably. They suggest using Farming Simulator VR as a learning tool, and also ask the pressing question:

What happens if you get in the way of a working combine harvester?

Farming Simulator VR is scheduled for release on February 28, and the game will be released exclusively for Meta* Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest Pro devices.

What's in store for future virtual farmers? The developers promise:

  • Full cycle of agricultural work - planting, harvesting, packing and selling;
  • Growing tomatoes, eggplants, strawberries and other crops in greenhouses;
  • Official machinery Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere and other manufacturers;
  • Ability to repair and maintain machines in your own workshop;
  • An additional level of realism - washing machines under pressure.
