Despite moving away from a fixed update schedule, the developers at Valve continue to delight us with consistent updates. The latest patch for Deadlock might not be massive, but it’s far from a minor tweak. A full list of changes is available on the forum page.

On January 18, the shooter introduced four new heroes, and just a few days later, the studio made some balance adjustments: Holliday's ability Crackshot now also triggers on units and uses half its cooldown in such cases, while Calico's ability Ava can now destroy objects she runs through.

The patch also addressed older heroes: Kelvin's health was increased from 600 to 650, Vendicta’s bullet speed was reduced from 810 to 740, and her movement speed decreased from nine to eight. Overall, targeted changes were made to 11 heroes, including the newly added ones.

The game remains in closed beta, with an online player count consistently ranging between 7,000 and 20,000.
