The studio Rebel Wolves, founded by former CD Projekt RED developers, hosted a stream showcasing a full reveal of The Blood of Dawnwalker, the team’s debut project. The team presented a four-minute cinematic trailer for this dark fantasy action RPG, announcing that this clip serves as the opening of the game’s storyline.

The narrative of The Blood of Dawnwalker takes place in the mid-14th century within an alternate version of Europe. After the events depicted in the intro, a young man named Coen gains supernatural abilities and must rescue his loved ones from the vampires. However, he is only given 30 days and nights to accomplish this. While time progresses only during specific gameplay moments, players will need to manage it carefully.

Coen will also face moral dilemmas: to retain his humanity or succumb to his dark vampiric nature, a choice that will affect both gameplay and the storyline. One of the core mechanics is Blood Hunger—if the protagonist goes too long without feeding on blood, he risks losing control and accidentally killing an important character, leading to unexpected consequences.

Players will have the freedom to explore detailed environments, with many aspects influenced by the time of day. The developers describe the open world as a "narrative sandbox" with extensive opportunities for player actions.

The game has been in development for two years and is being built on Unreal Engine 5. The Blood of Dawnwalker is planned for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, though there is no estimated release date yet.
