We can't emphasize enough that Fortnite is the ultimate platform for crossovers. Throughout the game's history, we've seen skins from a vast array of different universes. Even more rumors circulate regularly about future projects, but not all of them make it into the game.
However, the collaboration between Fortnite and Cyberpunk 2077 has been discussed for quite a while. After all, CD Projekt Red is transitioning to Unreal Engine 5 for their game development, and the developers are open to collaborations (Hi, Balatro!), so why not have the legends of Night City appear in Fortnite?
The biggest clue that this collaboration will launch very soon came from the Polish company itself. They posted a teaser on their social media showing V looking at multiple screens displaying Fortnite. This suggests that the update will be arriving soon, and here’s where unconfirmed information from data miners comes into play.
HYPEX reports that the Cyberpunk 2077 bundle will arrive in Fortnite as early as December 23! New content will include Johnny Silverhand and V (though it's unclear whether it will be the male or female version, or both), and perhaps even the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech (this car, for example, was featured in Forza Horizon 4). So far, the list of possible items looks like this:
- V Outfit for 1,500 V-Bucks
- Johnny Silverhand Outfit for 1,500 V-Bucks
- Johnny Silverhand's Katana for 800 V-Bucks
- Mantis Blades for 800 V-Bucks
- Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech for 1,800 V-Bucks
These details are unconfirmed, so things could still change, but all the timing seems to be pointing to this collaboration happening. We're looking forward to it with great excitement!
