For enthusiasts of automobile simulators, January 16, 2025, is a historic day. Assetto Corsa EVO will be made available on Steam early access by Kunos Simulazioni Studios.
At launch, players will get 20 detailed cars and 5 tracks: Imola, Brands Hatch, Bathurst, Laguna Seca and Suzuka. Despite the early access status, the developers promise already impressive physics, control and realistic behavior of cars.
A special feature of the game will be the free-ride mode. A major update is expected in the summer of 2025, which will add roads around the famous Nürburgring track. Fully laser-scanned open world will occupy up to 1600 square kilometers and will be expanded gradually.
Assetto Corsa EVO claims to be the best car simulator capable of challenging giants such as Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport, including photorealistic graphics and advanced physics.
At debut, Assetto Corsa EVO is anticipated to include 100 vehicles and 15 tracks, with more to be added in future free upgrades. Every circuit will replicate actual circumstances, including rolling tires or wet pavement, and spectators will be animated to make the experience more realistic.
The automobiles' dynamics, suspension damping, and shock absorption have also been enhanced by the developers. The Driving Academy mode will offer the aforementioned tracks, which need to be finished within a specific amount of time. One of the intended single-player activities in Early Access will be the Driving Academy mode, which aims to obtain a license that grants access to the best cars.
