Take-Two Interactive has published its financial report for the 2024 fiscal year. There are several points worth highlighting.

The most interesting point, of course, surrounds Grand Theft Auto VI. Currently, the plan for its release is set for fall 2025. Previously, the company planned to launch it somewhere throughout 2025, but now, we have a more precise estimation.

On our side, we can also suggest that it will happen closer to the November, because the winter Holiday season is the holy grail for sales, and traditionally all big title want to launch somewhere in November  Currently, the game is going to be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as the PC version was not mentioned in the report.

While the whole world is waiting for the sixth game in the franchise, the fifth one is tearing all possible achievements apart as the game has sold 200 million copies. Red Dead Redemption II is also successful with over 64 million copies sold. The total sales for the franchise exceed 89,000,000. The combined sales of the Borderlands series amount to approximately 86 million copies.

During the Summer Game Fest, 2K will present the next installment of "its biggest and most beloved franchise." The announcement happens on June 7.

Take-Two Interactive's net revenue for the fourth quarter amounted to $1.35 billion, exceeding the upper limit of the company's forecast. The company's net losses for the same period amounted to $2.9 billion. The executives also predict consistent profit growth for Take-Two in the 2025, 2026, and 2027.
