The company that created Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet & Clank, and Marvel's Spider-Man, Insomniac Games, is undergoing a significant transition. Ted Price, the company's founder and leader, handled the succession planning in advance and turned over management to a seasoned group of people before announcing his retirement.
Each of the new CEOs will focus on a different area of responsibility.
Jen Huang will take care of the company's strategy, partner projects and operations. She emphasizes that the studio's core value is teamwork and collaborative problem solving.
Chad Dezern will take charge of the creative and development teams, focusing on high quality games and their long-term strategy. His main goal is to maintain the high standard of games that Insomniac is known for.
Ryan Schneider will oversee communications, interacting with other PlayStation Studios teams and partners such as Marvel. He will also develop the studio's technology and work with the player community.
The studio continues to work on Marvel's Wolverine. Dezern noted that it is too early to talk about it, but promised that the project meets Insomniac's high standards.
