The second collection of Metal Gear re-releases has long been an open secret, as media outlets have written about it. Now, Konami has officially confirmed that they are working on it. However, the company has not yet revealed which titles will be included in the second edition.

The developers explained that while preparing Volume 1, they already had HD versions of several games, and that really made work easier. But now, they will have to dive into titles without such versions.

They are also concerned because the first collection launched with a number of technical issues, and they want to avoid similar problems with the sequel, which will also take time. Producer Noriaki Okamura emphasized that he understands players' desire to know more details. However, right now we don't have much of them revealed.

The first collection was released last October. It included Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater, and Snake's Revenge.
