Reburn, a new studio featuring former developers from the Metro series, has released a gripping gameplay trailer for their upcoming futuristic shooter, La Quimera. The nearly two-minute video begins with the player plummeting from an airborne vehicle, landing in a hostile environment swarming with robotic enemies.
As the trailer progresses, players are treated to dynamic combat across varied locations, emphasizing the need to always be prepared for battle. The video concludes with an unexpected surprise—the game’s release date. La Quimera is set to launch on April 25 for PC via Steam, with a closed beta test scheduled for April 12.
Set in a future version of Latin America, where the world is fragmented into small, warring states, La Quimera follows a mercenary entangled in a web of lies and deception. Players can experience the story solo or in co-op mode, utilizing exoskeletons and futuristic weaponry to survive intense battles.
While Reburn is a newly formed studio, its team includes talent from 4A Games, the creators of the Metro series. Meanwhile, 4A Games continues working on the next installment of their flagship franchise.
