Fatshark has announced the next major content update for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, titled Nightmares & Visions . Set to release across all platforms on March 25, 2025, this expansion brings an intriguing new activity crafted by the enigmatic Seferon. The highlight of the update is the introduction of Mortis Trials , where players will engage in wave-based combat within psychic visions conjured by the ship's psyker. Each trial will offer a unique experience thanks to procedurally generated buffs and abilities that players can select before each run.

By delving into these visions, players can unlock exclusive insights about certain characters tied to the Mourning Star storyline. In addition to Mortis Trials , the Havoc Mode receives new challenging trials with four mutators added to intensify the difficulty. Fans of the Ogryn class will also appreciate an overhauled talent tree designed to enhance their playstyle. To celebrate the update, a limited-time event will kick off alongside its release.
