Irina "Zemlia" Sukhanova In the U.S., the trial of actor Jonathan Majors, known for playing Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has concluded. He was arrested in New York in March this year following a domestic conflict, during which he allegedly hit his 30-year-old girlfriend.

According to the victim's statement, during the argument, the actor attacked her and began to strangle her. Medical professionals recorded head and neck injuries on the victim. The actor denied all the accusations. However, the jury concluded that Majors was indeed involved in the assault on his former girlfriend.
As a result, he was charged with "third-degree assault with intent to cause physical harm, third-degree assault with reckless infliction of physical harm, second-degree aggravated harassment, and second-degree harassment".
The jury ultimately found Jonathan guilty of third-degree assault with reckless infliction of physical harm and second-degree harassment. He was found not guilty of intentional assault and aggravated harassment under aggravating circumstances.

Majors' sentencing is scheduled for February 6.
Naturally, Marvel and Disney immediately ceased collaboration with the "problematic" actor. Jonathan will no longer play Kang the Conqueror, and scripts for future films will be rewritten to remove him from the plot.
Earlier, the actor lost his PR team, advertising contracts, and roles in a biopic about singer Otis Redding and the film "The Man in My Basement" based on Walter Mosley's novel.
