Today is the day when you can start the grind in the Deadlock ranked matchmaking. In the recent update, Valve revealed the names of all Deadlock ranks.

  1. Initiate
  2. Seeker
  3. Alchemist
  4. Arcanist
  5. Ritualist
  6. Emissary
  7. Archon
  8. Oracle
  9. Phantom
  10. Ascendant
  11. Eternus

Each rank will be divided into the six subranks with I being the lowest and VI being the highest. This system is similar to Dota 2. In the ranked matchmaking, only players with the same medals will face each other.

To get your first medal, you will need to play seven calibration matches (in addition to at least 50 completed matches on the account). The designs of each medal will be revealed next week, when the first batch of them will be awarded to players. Currently, these medals will only work for one week, after it is finished, you will need to play seven matches again.

Although the peak number of players has fallen recently, there are still tens of thousands of players who enjoy the new game, even though it is still in the closed beta.
