The roster of playable characters in Honkai Star Rail continues to grow as the highly anticipated Version 3.1 update introduces Medea, a powerful new hero set to join the lineup. The developers have released an overview trailer showcasing Medea’s abilities and role in the game, ahead of her banner launch.

Medea is a 5-star rarity character who follows the Path of Destruction. In battle, she specializes in dealing Imaginary-type damage and has a unique mechanic that allows her to consume her own health to unleash devastating attacks on a selected enemy and nearby targets. Additionally, Medea can enter a "Fury" state, which prevents her from being defeated by a fatal blow. Instead, she exits the "Fury" state and restores her health, making her a resilient and strategic asset in combat.

As part of the Version 3.1 update, Medea will soon become available through her dedicated character banner. Her arrival marks another exciting addition to the ever-expanding world of Honkai Star Rail , offering players new tactical possibilities and team-building opportunities.
