A new gameplay showcase for Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound has been unveiled, featuring Kumori — a fierce ninja from the Black Spider Clan. With her unorthodox approach, Kumori blends advanced technology with dark mystical energy, standing apart from traditional ninja practices.

The game is being crafted by The Game Kitchen, the Spanish developer behind Blasphemous. Set concurrently with the story of the original Ninja Gaiden, this new title explores parallel conflicts as the demonic threat escalates.

As Ryu Hayabusa departs his village to avenge his father's death in the United States, a breach between the human and demon realms unleashes a deadly invasion. In his absence, young Kenji Mozu of the Hayabusa clan steps up to defend their homeland.

Throughout the campaign, Kenji crosses paths with Kumori, and the two must set aside their ancestral rivalry to face overwhelming odds. The trailer teases their fusion through arcane power, allowing players to switch between both characters to leverage their distinct abilities throughout the game.
