The remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has taken over Game Pass in a huge way. According to stats from TrueAchievements, it was the most-played title on the service in April—and not just by a little. At launch, Oblivion Remastered drew 153% more players than the second-place game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Expedition 33 also had a solid debut, landing in second and pulling in nearly 89% more players than the third-ranked Crime Scene Cleaner. South of Midnight came in fourth, missing third place by just 0.4%, while Blue Prince rounded out the top five.

But Oblivion Remastered didn’t just win April—it’s now the most popular Game Pass release of 2025 so far. It beat the previous top title, Avowed, by nearly 60%. That’s a massive lead, and it shows how strong nostalgia still is, especially when paired with a polished update.

Expedition 33 continues to shine, taking third place in the year-to-date rankings, just ahead of Atomfall. In fifth is Sniper Elite: Resistance, showing that action-heavy titles still have their place among Game Pass users.
