Red Candle Games studio has released the launch trailer for Nine Sols. The trailer shows off varied locations and intense monster battles. The 2D platformer is now available on Steam.

Nine Sols has already received its first positive reviews. Players are praising the colorful visual style, pleasant soundtrack, unique mechanics, and emphasis on parrying attacks. Gamers have compared the platformer to a brutal version of Hollow Knight and noted bosses reminiscent of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

The developers cite one of the game's main features as the "daopunk" aesthetic. This setting combines cyberpunk, East Asian mythology, and Taoism. You'll play as the combative fox Yi, who must defeat the nine Sols — rulers of the ancient New Kunlun realm — unravel the mystery of an ancient alien race, and discover humanity's fate.

Until June 4th, Nine Sols can be purchased on Steam with a 10% discount. It's a great opportunity to get acquainted with the game at a reduced price and experience its unique features.
