We first learned that Silent Hill f was in development back in fall 2022. Since then, details have been scarce. However, that’s about to change this week, as KONAMI is set to host a special presentation dedicated to the project. The broadcast will begin on March 13 at 3:00 PM PDT.

As a reminder, the setting of the future project is 1960s Japan. The story is being written by Ryukishi07, a renowned Japanese writer best known for the visual novels Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Umineko no Naku Koro ni—both of which are well-known and considered cult classics.

According to previous statements from Konami, the game will offer a fresh take on Silent Hill, blending traditional psychological survival horror with elements of Japanese culture and folklore.

Although the recent release of the Silent Hill 2 Remake was well-received, longtime fans of the series are still craving something entirely new. We don’t yet know when Silent Hill f will be released, but at least we won’t have to wait much longer for updates.
