Several months ago, the studio announced a survival horror game titled Cronos: The New Dawn. It is known that the game will draw more inspiration from Resident Evil than Silent Hill, and several concept arts have also been revealed.

At the Future Games Show 2025, the Polish studio released a developer diary, shedding light on the inspiration behind the project and providing details about the main character, monsters, and the game world.

"In the past, you will witness a world engulfed by the Shift—a global event that forever changed humanity. In the future, you will traverse a barren wasteland where every step is a struggle for survival against dangerous degenerates. To survive, you will need to rely on your reflexes and tactical thinking. You play as the Traveler, an envoy of the mysterious Collective, tasked with exploring the future wastelands to find temporal rifts that will transport you to 1980s Poland", the game's description states.

The concept of the protagonist's suit symbolizes a deep-sea diver who plunges not into water, but through time. This design highlights the dangers they face while exploring a dying world. Beyond the extreme conditions, an even greater threat lurks in the ruins—the Orphans. These mutated beings are the twisted remnants of humanity and pay homage to the works of John Carpenter. Each type of Orphan possesses unique abilities and combat styles, forcing players to adapt their tactics in every encounter. From multi-limbed creatures to torsos with multiple faces and giant tentacled monsters—the variety of enemies promises to be impressive.

"Your mission is to find key figures from a bygone era who will perish during the apocalypse in a few years. Collect their essences using a powerful collector and bring them to the future", the press release explains.

The developers confirmed that the game will feature the ability to dismember enemies' limbs, though not in the same style as Dead Space—the combat system will have its own unique concept. In combat, players will be able to use not only traditional weapons like shotguns or assault rifles but also special equipment, such as a flamethrower, which will play a key role in defeating enemies. Melee combat has also been confirmed, indicating a more diverse approach to confronting monstrous foes.

The game is set to release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
