Money talks, and when it comes to video games, we speak about sales numbers. On May 20, the South Korean studio Shift Up published its financial report for the past 2024 fiscal year, which ended on March 31. The company detailed the successes of Stellar Blade and their work on upcoming projects.

Shift Up expressed satisfaction with the initial sales of Stellar Blade—they exceeded all the developers' expectations. However, the South Korean studio did not specify the number of copies sold.

The developers mentioned that they are considering releasing Stellar Blade on PC. Additionally, Shift Up plans to continue the story of the paratrooper Eve, who is saving a ravaged Earth, but nothing concrete has been decided yet.

Shift Up has begun work on a project codenamed Witches. This is a AAA role-playing game set in a sci-fi setting, developed on the Unreal Engine and intended for release on multiple platforms. However, the current release date is set to 2027, so we'll have to wait for quite a while.
