Marvel's Spider-Man 2 predictably became a big hit, but despite this, the game surprisingly lacked post-ending content, aside from the usual patches for bug fixes. The "New Game+" mode was promised by the end of 2023 but was eventually pushed to 2024.
The Insomniac Games team announced that on March 7th, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will receive an update with the "New Game+" mode, new costumes, and something else. Details will be revealed later.
Among other things, the update will introduce an option to change the time of day after completing the story, the ability to replay missions, and an audio description feature for on-screen events. The developers had previously announced these innovations.
Aside from the "New Game+" mode, Insomniac has not mentioned any further support for Spider-Man 2. A list of all the changes in the "New Game+" mode for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be published later. Usually, such modes offer to replay the game with all the upgrades available from the start, and enemies become stronger.
