More news is coming from Ubisoft. The company is developing a cooperative mode for Assassin's Creed Shadows, codenamed "League", according to journalist Tom Henderson, who cited his sources. The co-op mode is expected to be added to Assassin's Creed Shadows after its release, as part of a future update. Ubisoft has not yet set a specific release date, partly due to the delayed launch of the game itself.

Details about the cooperative mode are scarce for now. Henderson speculated that players might be able to progress through the game together as the main characters, Yasuke and Naoe.

Ubisoft is also working on the multiplayer Assassin's Creed Invictus, scheduled for release next year. Additionally, the company is developing Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe, the darkest entry in the series. A remake of Assassin's Creed Black Flag is also in production. Considering that Ubisoft is in trouble as their shares have heavily dropped this year, there is not much room left for errors.
