Remedy Entertainment published a financial report. The situation can possibly be described as not great, not terrible. In its financial report, Remedy announced a revenue increase of 128.6% from July to September 2024.
However, one of the biggest games of the studio, Alan Wake 2, has yet to cover all of its costs. It's been a year since the game launch, and the fact that it is still in the red might seem worrying. It should be noted, though, that no data about the sales of The Lake House DLC was included in the report.
As for the other franchises, Control 2 is expected to enter full production in 2025, but considering internal issues with Annapurna, it is unsurprising that some critical features are already prepared.
The cooperative shooter FBC: Firebreak will have a mid-range price. Currently, the studio is receiving feedback from testers and polish the different mechanics. The game release is planned for 2025.
Max Payne 1 and 2 remakes are developing according to the plan, and that is basically the only thing that Remedy currently shared.
The Finnish studio brings many interesting projects and provides quite a unique vision, so it is interesting to follow their successes.
