In November, Arcane co-creator Christian Linke shared that Riot Games and Fortiche are working on stories set in several regions of Runeterra. However, the showrunner and writer didn't reveal what specific stories or characters they would focus on.

Now, in an interview with The Direct, Linke clarified that creators want to focus on individual character stories, including those viewers have already seen.

Earlier, Linke also mentioned that the stories of Jinx and Ekko are clearly not finished. It’s likely that one of the upcoming projects will be dedicated to these characters.

This approach could address the issue with Arcane's second season. While most viewers enjoyed it, some complained about the rapid pace of the storytelling, which resulted in certain characters' stories being underdeveloped.

The bridge for a story about Noxus is likely to be Mel Medarda, who returned to her homeland after the events of Arcane. Theoretically, the creators could also involve Demacia here, as both regions are closely connected in the lore of the universe.

In any case, even the nearest release in the franchise will have to wait a few more years, as none of the projects have yet entered full production.
