The game recently received a comprehensive 2.0 update with significant changes: a revamped combat system, improved performance, and full-fledged co-op mode with shared progression for two players. These changes instantly revived community interest—peak concurrent players unexpectedly surged to 10,000, while just a week prior it barely reached 500.
The game's renaissance didn't go unnoticed by CI Games' leadership. CEO Marek Tymiński publicly thanked players, noting that thanks to "significant sales growth", the project may soon reach breakeven point.
Amid renewed popularity, developers are promptly addressing technical issues. When players reported a bug preventing them from obtaining key boss rewards in co-op, Marek quickly confirmed the team was already working on a fix.
Simultaneously, the studio is improving community communication. To keep discussions focused on gameplay, developers secured a dedicated Reddit subforum with strict moderation that prohibits political and social topic discussions.
Meanwhile, the team has already begun working on a sequel. As confirmed by developers, the follow-up is in active development on a new engine, incorporating all lessons learned since the original game's 2023 release.
