Despite it being a decade since the release of the cult classic game, the fan community still holds out hope for the franchise's revival. Players actively discuss a potential sequel, dream of a remaster with modern graphics, and, of course, hope for a PC release. However, Sony appears to remain deaf to these numerous requests—at least, that's what well-known insider Jeff Grubb claims.

Responding to a user's question on X, the journalist bluntly stated:

They're doing nothing with Bloodborne. Sorry. I'm being serious.

According to his information, Sony has no plans whatsoever to develop a sequel or even port the game to PC. This seems especially odd given the company's current strategy: in recent years, PlayStation has consistently released its exclusives on PC—from Horizon Zero Dawn to Marvel's Spider-Man. Yet, for some inexplicable reason, Bloodborne remains an exception to this rule.

All that's left is to speculate about the reasons behind this situation: perhaps it's due to legal intricacies, technical challenges with the original code, or simply Sony not seeing commercial potential in this project.
