If you have a strong vision and unique ideas, people will notice. Studios like Larian (with their hit game Baldur’s Gate III) and the ever-loud Hazelight Studio are prime examples of this.

The co-op adventure Split Fiction launched on March 6 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, and the release was a massive success—within a week, the game had sold over two million copies, was being called a Game of the Year contender for 2025, and was receiving a very walm review welcome on Steam.

This is yet another huge win for the charismatic game designer Josef Fares and his studio, Hazelight, and it certainly won’t be the last. In an interview on the Skill Up podcast, Fares revealed that the developers have already been working on their next project for about a month. He is thrilled with the concept and is fully focused on this upcoming game.

Fares also promised that no matter how highly Split Fiction is rated, their next game will be even better. The Hazelight team is feeling inspired by the game's success and is completely confident in what they’re creating.
