According to Sony, there is a significant outage affecting numerous services on the PlayStation network. All platforms: PS Vita, PS3, PS4, PS5, and web access have a downed network.
Users are facing problems logging in and creating new accounts as the account management service is down. The glitch makes it difficult to launch games and use online features, while PlayStation Video and the PlayStation Store are also inaccessible users can't watch content, make purchases or download items.

Sony reported the issue to the Network X support account, confirming that it is aware of the outage, suggesting that it is monitoring the status on the official page. The outage has lasted more than six hours and it's unclear when it will be fixed.
Sony said that because of the incident, “users may have difficulty launching games, apps or networking features”. For example, you can't download your purchased digital games or see your friends, trophies or even your network status on your PS5.
