It seems that we're having a new dangerous scheme to get your personal data. Konami has warned fans about fake beta test invites for Silent Hill f spreading in the Internet. Scammers are pretending to offer early access to the title and leading people to fake websites that steal personal info.

The fans of the series spent lots of years in anticipation of the new title. It promises to bring back the creepy, psychological horror the series is known for. So, you can imagine, why people want to test it as soon as possible. And scammers are taking advantage of that excitement.

According to Konami, these fake invites are not official. They often come from suspicious accounts that link to sketchy websites asking for names, emails, or other sensitive info. Konami made it clear: if you see a random invite online, don’t click it. Only trust the game’s official site and X (Twitter) account for updates.

This kind of scam isn’t new. CD Projekt RED recently had to warn people about fake Witcher 4 beta invites too. So if something looks too good to be true—it probably is.

Be smart, stay safe, and wait for official announcements.
