Remedy is still actively working on building the resources for expansion. Earlier, it entered a partnership with Annapurna, but it might not be enough for a company. Recently, it successfully negotiated a potential €15 million loan at an 8% annual interest rate from Tencent.

Remedy is expected to repay the loan within five years, but the studio has the option to pay it off early. Three years after the deal begins, Tencent will have the option to convert the remaining loan balance into shares, which will then be transferred to the company.

Tencent is already the largest investor in Remedy, owning 14.8% of the studio's shares. As a result of this deal, Tencent's stake could increase to 20%. On October 24, Remedy's shareholders will hold a meeting to make a final decision regarding the loan.

Currently, Remedy is developing Control 2, remakes of Max Payne 1 and 2, and a multiplayer Control spinoff with the codename Condor. None of these projects have a release date yet. In May, Remedy canceled a paid co-op project codenamed Kestrel, which the studio had been developing in partnership with Tencent.
