The youngest MVP in the history of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Majors, Kjaerbye, recently raised over ten thousand euros for charity during a four-hour stream. The funds were donated to a Danish foundation dedicated to fighting childhood cancer.

Unfortunately, the reason for the charity stream was a very sad one. This summer, Kjaerbye’s sister passed away at the age of 29 after being diagnosed with brain cancer not long before. By the way, they are pictured together on the cover photo. The ability not only to recover after such a heavy blow but also to help others is a trait that distinguishes resilient people.

Kjaerbye became the youngest Major champion in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive history. He won the ELEAGUE Major Atlanta with Astralis and became the MVP. After that, however, his career took a downturn, and he couldn't repeat his success. At the Shanghai Major, in a CS2 era, both of Kjaerbye’s records were taken by donk.

The most recent team Kjaerbye was part of was JiJieHao, with which he placed 12th-15th at the Esports World Cup 2024.
