Horror fans, brace yourselves—Universal Pictures has just dropped the first teaser for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the next chapter in the terrifying saga inspired by Scott Cawthon’s hit video game series. The sequel will bring back familiar faces, new dangers, and an even darker atmosphere than before.

The teaser confirms that security guard Mike Schmidt and officer Vanessa will once again face the horrors of Freddy Fazbear’s world. This time, animatronics like Freddy, Chica, Foxy, and Balloon Boy seem more aggressive, as they break loose and hunt down their next victims.

Emma Tammi returns as director, working alongside franchise creator Scott Cawthon and screenwriter Seth Cuddeback. Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio, and Elizabeth Lail also reprise their roles, ensuring continuity from the 2023 hit.

The film will hit theaters on December 5, 2025. Hutcherson has hinted that this installment will be much scarier than the first, promising a horror experience that will leave audiences on edge.
